These editing guidelines apply to serial records created before the adoption of the CONSER STANDARD RECORD in 2007. They should only be used when editing non CONSER STANDARD RECORDS, if necessary.

Do not use these guidelines to create an original record.

For fields listed below, review tags, indicators, and subfield codes for accuracy and correct if necessary. For a field not listed below, accept as is.
